The JA Mariano Agency was founded in 1973 by Joseph A. Mariano in Bridgeton, New Jersey and began with three employees selling property & casualty personal lines mostly in New Jersey.
Today, the agency is headquartered in Rosenhayn, NJ, has a staff of thirteen and is licensed in twenty states. Our property & casualty business is 75% commercial and 25% personal. Our staff is well-trained, experienced and licensed in their respective lines of insurance. We have over 100 years of combined experience!
While we do have voicemail, we strive to limit its usage. When you call in, our receptionist greets you and directs you to the most appropriate person. If the individual is busy, you typically have the option to hold or leave a message in voicemail. We aim to return calls within 24 hours, however most are returned within 60 minutes or less. We feel it is important that you have the opportunity to speak with someone that can listen to your needs and then take the appropriate steps to make sure all of your questions are answered.
Mr. Michael P. Pizzo, CIC is the Agency Principal.
In 1986, Mr. Pizzo started with the Agency and his first position was that of a producer (salesperson).
In 1990, he became Vice President of Sales expanding his duties from that of a producer to the agency's chief liaison between carriers and producers.
In 1997, he took over as President of the company and took on a more active role in the agency's financial and public relations.
From a foundation established by its original owners, Joseph and Jennie Mariano, Mr. Pizzo and the team of employees at M. Pizzo LLC and the J.A. Mariano Agency have grown and strengthened the company through professionalism, industry experience, and excellence in customer service.
